The commit author is Martin Kool, martin@q42.nl. - Q42's own [2015 publication](https://blog.q42.nl/0h-n0-een-nieuw-spel-van-q42-a63773c00017/) links the original repositories and identifies both games as open source. This is a historical release, not a mirror of the current official game website. - License: the pinned repository includes the complete [MIT license](LICENSE), copyright 2015 Q42. The retained puzzle code, stylesheet and original PNG gameplay/icon artwork are distributed with that repository license. Author/copyright comments and in-game About attribution remain. No bundled font files, promotional art, Cordova bootstrap or WebFont loader are distributed. - jQuery: [official version 3.7.1](https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.7.1.min.js), with its [MIT copyright and license](JQUERY-LICENSE.txt), replaces the old 2.1.0 runtime. The dependency remains unmodified. - Local typography references the site's existing same-origin Barlow Condensed and IBM Plex Sans fonts. Their separate notices remain in the site's font directory; these fonts are not claimed under Q42's license. ## Local changes Original puzzle generation, solvability rules, sizes, tutorial, hints, undo and score logic are retained. The host copy starts at the menu immediately. Sharing, app-store promotion, native social/native app launch code and optional telemetry hooks are removed. Unused third-party-derived color conversion utilities are omitted, replaced by fixed original game colors. No advertisements, analytics, donations, account services or remote font loader are included. The local bridge isolates score/tutorial keys per game, falls back to memory with a visible message if storage is unavailable, fixes touch-to-mouse duplication, adds keyboard activation, descriptive board/control labels and visible focus, and honors reduced motion. A local runtime error is shown with a reload action. Raw runtime pages request noindex,follow; their public game-detail pages provide the indexable content. ## Source availability This directory serves the actual modified HTML, CSS and unminified game JavaScript. Open index.html and each referenced file under js/ and css/ to inspect the running source. LICENSE and JQUERY-LICENSE.txt are served beside it; no private repository access is needed. MIT does not impose a source-publication requirement; these files are nevertheless public for review.
